What started as a dream... has become reality. Joyce O'Brien dreamed of a second career as the proprietor of a flower shop during the years she worked for an investment firm in New York City.  When she retired early and moved to Largo, friends and family encouraged her to make the dream a reality.  It didn't happen until her daughter, Karen Rodowicz, moved to Largo, and JK Flowers was opened in 2002 in Belleair Bluffs.

Joyce has since passed in September 2020 from cancer, Karen still runs the business from a location in Largo Florida.

While Joyce is now among the angels in heaven, her vision and Karen's passion for the mother and daughter owned business they started together continues on. Karen still stakes her reputation on superior products, attention to quality, and customer service. Her niche is creativity and she loves to be challenged.
